Life's Tender Mercies

On the morning of August 1st while at the funeral for little Kamber, we learned that my sister-in-law Annie had been in the hospital the night before in labor. They tried to delay her delivery but were unsuccessful. My brother Spencer has been in Denver at the Broncos training camp while Annie has been down here staying with her family, preparing to have their baby. She came to the funeral but was in terrible pain the whole time. She left as soon as it was over and at about 5:30 pm their second son was born. Spencer was able to fly in on Friday night, but had to return back to Denver on Sunday morning. His name is Gunnar Kamb. They felt it only fitting to name him after his sweet cousin Kamber. This is just another one of the tender mercies that has been shown to our family over the past week and half. To lay to rest one grandchild and then have another one born on the very same day.
