Dave and I were married on August 23, 1997. We met at a country dance in May and after a few weeks, we knew that we were meant to be together. I was playing volleyball at ASU and we had to decide if we were going to get married before or after the season. We decided that we did not want to wait, so we got married on probably the hottest dang day of that year.
Tristyn 13
Tristyn is growing up so fast . She loves school, playing volleyball and hanging out with her friends. She is such a big help to me.
Trace 11
Trace is getting so BIG. He is filling out and he is built just like Dave. He loves playing tackle football. He also loves to play video games and he seems to always want something NEW. He also likes watching his uncle Spencer play football for the Denver Broncos.
Trent 8
Trent is growing up and getting so tall. He enjoys playing sports, video games and on the computer He is a really good with his brothers and loves his new baby sister.
Troy 5
Troy Boy is so much fun. He has a really cute personality and he makes me laugh everyday. He is my little buddy and he keeps me very busy. He loves to play with all of the kids and he started Kindergarten this year.
Trulie
We are loving our new little addition. She is such a good baby. It only took me five kids to get one that likes to sleep.
Kamber Bamber
Kamber is my niece. She was born on February 10, 2006 and passed away on July 25th, 2008 in a tragic accident in the family pool. She is greatly missed and loved by many. We think about her everyday and look forward to the day that we will be able to hold her again.
On Sunday we all went over to Ethan and Jen's to have dinner and to watch Spencer's football game against the Chargers. It was an exciting game. They barely won in the last seconds of the game. As we were leaving the kids were out in the front yard playing and I thought it would be nice to take a picture of the kiddos having fun. All they have to do is sit and smile. Simple right? Not even close. You wouldn't think that taking a good picture would be tough, but anyone with kids knows, it is close to impossible. It only took me about ten minutes to get all of the kids to sit down and look in my general direction. After a lot of yelling and threatening and frustrating Dave who was holding all of our stuff, I snapped a few pictures. This was as good as I could get. I really do love children, especially my own. I love them because they like to make everything we do as difficult as possible. They want to make sure that I stay as crazy as ever. I wouldn't be their mother otherwise.
We have the same problem over here and Bryan is always equally frustrated. I try to explain that if he'd stop whining about me wanting a picture, and do something silly so they'd smile, it would all be over so much faster. You did get some good ones. They're all so cute!
Can you believe that you are watching your little brother play in the NFL?? That's pretty amazing!
That is typical! But those pictures say more than the posed fake smile pictures. You will look back and laugh at all the comotion going on. Go Spencer!!!
Dave and I have been married for fourteen years and we are so happy. We have been so blessed with five beautiful, active children who keep us very busy. I enjoy scrapbooking, beading, playing volleyball and spending time with my family. My new love is hair bows for our baby girl!
